About me…

I started producing creative events in high school when I co-founded Emerald City Improv, a street improv group with around 1,000 members that staged happenings and artistic activations around my hometown of Seattle. This included events such as spontaneous choo-choo trains, musicals, fake celebrity sightings, and the annual No Pants! Light Rail Ride.

I moved to Vermont in 2011 to attend Middlebury College, where I continued to explore the concept play by founding the Youthful Alliance of Merrymaking (YAM), which elevated child-like play to an adult level by staging enormous Nerf blaster battles, building giant blanket forts, competing to build the world’s largest cardboard box fort, and more.

While in Vermont I also began working in storytelling, directing stories for a student organization and independent storytelling events before eventually founding The Vermont Moth StorySLAM and the annual Cocoon storytelling show.

After college I taught high school in Madaba, Jordan, before returning to Seattle. In Seattle I have continued teaching while also working as a house manager and creative producer at Abbey Arts, a small nonprofit. I currently am a co-producer for The Seattle Moth StorySLAM.

In March 2022 I will be appearing on Fox’s new reality competition show Domino Masters, airing Wednesdays at 9/8c.
